Terms and Conditions for Chauffeur Service

Effective Date: February 1, 2025

Agreement to These Terms

These terms and conditions for chauffeur service govern reservations, website use and transportation services provided by Black Chauffeur Limo Service LLC, operating Silicon Valley Chauffeur. By requesting a quote, booking a reservation, using the website, riding as a passenger or arranging service for another passenger, you agree to these terms and any written reservation confirmation provided by the company.

Services are pre-arranged and subject to availability, vehicle suitability, route conditions, payment approval, legal requirements and operational limitations. If a written reservation confirmation conflicts with general website content, the specific written confirmation for that trip will usually control that reservation.

Reservations and Trip Details

Customers are responsible for providing accurate pickup addresses, destination addresses, dates, times, passenger names, mobile numbers, airline information, flight numbers, FBO details, luggage counts, passenger counts, vehicle preferences and special requests. Incorrect or incomplete information may affect pricing, timing, vehicle suitability or service availability.

Reservation requests are not guaranteed until accepted by the company. The company may decline or cancel a request when service is unavailable, unsafe, unlawful, incomplete, impractical or inconsistent with passenger count, luggage needs, vehicle capacity or company policy.

Pricing, Payments and Charges

Quotes may depend on route, time, distance, vehicle type, passenger count, luggage, airport or FBO requirements, waiting time, hourly minimums, tolls, parking, stops, event timing and other trip details. Pricing may change if the actual service differs from the original request, including added stops, extended waiting, route changes, additional passengers, extra luggage, overtime or late schedule changes.

Payment terms may require a valid credit card, deposit, prepayment, authorization or approved account arrangement. Customers are responsible for charges associated with the confirmed reservation, including applicable fees, tolls, parking, waiting time, extra service time, damage, cleaning, cancellation charges and other approved or policy-based charges.

Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers must be ready at the confirmed pickup time and must follow reasonable chauffeur instructions related to safety, vehicle care, pickup location, seat belts, child safety seats, luggage handling and legal compliance. Passengers may not smoke, vape, consume illegal substances, damage the vehicle, harass the chauffeur, interfere with safe operation or bring prohibited items into the vehicle.

The company may refuse or discontinue service if a passenger appears unsafe, abusive, disorderly, intoxicated, threatening, unlawful or likely to damage the vehicle or endanger the chauffeur, passengers or public. In such cases, charges may still apply according to the reservation and company policies.

Vehicle Availability and Capacity

Vehicle images and descriptions are representative of service categories. The company makes reasonable efforts to provide the requested vehicle type, but vehicle assignment depends on availability, reservation details, passenger count, luggage, mechanical condition and operational needs. A substitute vehicle may be used when appropriate and available.

Customers must disclose accurate passenger and luggage counts before service. If the group or luggage exceeds safe or legal capacity, the chauffeur may refuse to transport excess passengers or items. Additional vehicles or changed service may require extra charges and may not be available on short notice.

Airport and Private Aviation Service

For airport service, customers should provide airline, flight number, terminal information when known, passenger mobile number and luggage details. Flight tracking may be used when information is available, but flight data can be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Passengers should communicate after landing, especially when baggage, customs, terminal changes or airport rules affect pickup timing.

For private aviation service, customers should provide FBO name, arrival time, departure time, tail number when available, passenger count, luggage needs and coordinator contact. Airport and FBO rules, access limitations and security procedures may affect pickup locations and timing.

Cancellations, Delays and Changes

Cancellation terms, waiting time, rescheduling rules and no-show charges may depend on the reservation type, vehicle assignment, route, service date, account terms and written confirmation. Customers should notify the company as early as possible when plans change. Same-day changes may not always be available.

The company is not responsible for delays, missed flights, missed meetings, missed reservations or indirect losses caused by weather, traffic, road closures, airport delays, passenger lateness, inaccurate information, law enforcement activity, emergencies or events outside reasonable control. The service interruption policy may also apply.

Cleaning, Damage and Conduct Charges

Customers may be responsible for cleaning, repair, replacement, downtime or administrative charges caused by spills, stains, smoke, odors, excessive mess, broken items, vehicle damage or passenger misconduct. Charges may be applied to the card or account associated with the reservation when permitted by law and company policy.

Website Use and Information

The website provides general information about chauffeured transportation services, vehicles, service areas, airport transportation, private aviation, corporate accounts and policies. Website information may change without notice and does not guarantee availability, pricing, vehicle assignment or acceptance of a reservation.

Customers should contact the company directly for current pricing, availability, route questions, account support and reservation confirmation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the company is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, including lost profits, missed opportunities, alternate travel costs or losses caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control. Nothing in these terms is intended to limit liability where limitation is not permitted by applicable law.
